Making her first appearance in the 8th installment of the Touhou Project Series, Mokou is a being who's unable to die, but experience pain at the same time, that's why she's in part human. Her backstory involves her father "trying" to complete the impossible requests ordered by the princess Houraisan Kaguya, which later refused his propose of marriage, making Mokou raging inside. Some time later, she managed to find the forbidden Hourai Elixir, which was going to get thrown inside Mt. Fuji. Once she drank it, until that moment, she never was the same. She began to feel a little different.As soon as she achieved immortality, she began to wander around for a lot of years, until she ended up in Gensokyo.Thus, she met a somewhat familiar face. That face she thought would never see it again, Kaguya. Seeing her being in the same mess as she was, the two of them began to fight each day.

Honestly if you were to ask me why i like her, i'd answer something like this:"it's a mix between her backstory, her relationship she has with Kaguya, and of course, her design mostly (i perceive her as both cute and cool)" but sometimes, i can relate to her.

A while back, i've also managed to defeat her!!! You cant believe how much happy i was in that moment. I thought i'd never reach that point, but with a lot of practice and patiente it seems, you can actually do it!! (I also managed to unlock her last spell "Imperishable Shooting" but due to me still not being used to some of her spells, i didnt received those bonus score points, but thats okay haha)

In the end, Mokou is Love, Mokou is Life
